Amethyst Stalactite Slice

Sold Individually

These crystal slices of pure bliss are really something to marvel at. While you’re probably l familiar with amethyst, these beauties are in a whole different league. Their formation begins with a single drop of mineral rich water that continues to flow from the roof of a cave. The water contains dissolved silica and iron which flows down the roof of the cave and forms icicle-like structures. The iron gives the stalactites a purple hue, while the silica crystallizes into quartz. This combination of both amethyst and stalactites is very rare and found in only a few places in the world. The process is believed to take 130 millions years to complete and the results are stunning. There is also a prismatic quality to the crystals along the edge which really gleamers in the sun. We probably won’t have these for long as they usually sell extremely fast so, if you’re reading this, you’ve still got time!

According to Metaphysics:

Amethyst: Amethyst is a soothing and meditative stone that works across the emotional, spiritual, and physical realms to promote calm, balance, patience, and peace. It is widely known for its use in spiritual practices, particularly in deepening your connection to your inner self and enhancing your intuition. In addition to strengthening your intuitive abilities, Amethyst also aids in achieving inner peace, helping you relax and unwind when needed most—whether before bed, during stressful moments, or prior to meditation.

Stalactite: Stalactites symbolize hidden inner growth and the secret expansion of the higher self. They begin as a single drop of water on the ceiling of a cave, with successive drops building upon each other over time to form a striking column that hangs from the ceiling. This process creates a stalactite gem, millions of years old, imbued with ancient wisdom and a sense of wonder.
