Creedite with Flourite on Matrix Specimen A

Approximately 9" by 5-6"

This is a new pick for us, and boy, are we stoked about having it. Not only is it the semi-rare Creedite, but it’s also a mix of fluorite—it’s the “peanut butter in my chocolate” scenario. But what exactly is Creedite? Great question.

Creedite is a fascinating and relatively rare mineral known for its vibrant colors, like orange, purple, or sometimes even colorless. It forms in long, prismatic crystals that can look like little radiant clusters, making it really popular with collectors. Creedite is part of the sulfate group and is mostly found in places with copper and lead deposits, like in the U.S. and Mexico. This particular specimen was pulled from a mine in Mexico that is no longer accessible, making it that much more special. Sprinkled into this specimen is our all-time favorite mineral, fluorite. For more about fluorite, check out our fluorite clusters here.

According to Metaphysics: Creedite is believed to have several properties, including amplifying energy, promoting emotional healing, and enhancing mental clarity. It’s a bit of a grab bag, but in the best way possible. It’s thought to help clear negative energy, improve focus, and support emotional balance by releasing old patterns. Creedite is also used to connect with higher realms, aiding in spiritual growth and communication with spiritual guides. Its calming energy is said to reduce stress and bring inner peace, while it’s often associated with the third eye and crown chakras to boost intuition and spiritual awareness. Overall, it’s considered a powerful mineral that provides a plethora of benefits.
