Six Sided Green Onyx Die
.5"
Sold Individually
Sometimes you just want to roll some dice in your DnD game that feel as fantastical as the Beholder your party is currently dying to. These green onyx dice fit that bill. They are handmade, and each will have some variance. They also work great as counters for your Magic The Gathering EDH deck.
A bit about Green Onyx:
When most people think of Onyx, they generally envision a jet-black stone (or a Pokemon if you're a dork like us), but onyx actually has a pretty wide range of colors. These green onyx, for example, show flashes of bright orange and hues of light green, yellow, and red. It's formed when silica-rich water slowly seeps into cracks or cavities in rocks and hardens over time. Tiny amounts of minerals like chromium or iron mix in during this process, giving the stone its rich green color. Layers sometimes form as the silica deposits, creating subtle banding. Over millions of years, heat and pressure turn it into the smooth, polished stone we know as green onyx.
These dice are a blend of two great things: love of the natural world and, hopefully, spawning an infinite army of 1/1s at your game table.
