Standing Rose Amethyst Specimen

Approximately 15x8"

Rose Amethyst is a soft pink variety of amethyst that’s loved for its light, gentle color. Instead of the usual deep purple, it shows up in shades from pale blush to dusty rose because of natural inclusions and trace minerals in the quartz.

It was first found in Patagonia, Argentina, and usually forms in geodes and clusters with soft banding or slightly cloudy patterns. Some pieces are barely pink, while others lean more mauve with a hint of lavender.

Like all amethyst, it’s a type of quartz that formed millions of years ago inside volcanic rock cavities. Its subtle color and sparkly crystal structure make it a favorite for collectors and pretty display pieces.
